While I’m not often a fan of “catalog” photographs of flowers. Occasionally a specimen demands to simply be presented for its own perfect beauty. Such was the case with this peonie. Usually my peonies appear either bloomed out or barely opened. Rarely do I see the moment when the flowers are simply perfect. As I walked to the mail box this one simply called out, “…dude – look at me – I’m perfect – now – and only for this instant – in this specific light…”
