Friday: Drive to Sendik’s for the traditional fried fish. Full moon peeks over trees; rooftops; disappears; reappears. Turn right on Port Washington Road. There behind Culver’s it all comes together. Don’t stop. Drive on for the fish as I may see an even better view. Nope. That was the photograph. Buy the fish and seven layer salad. Drive back through the parking lots. Perfect (except for the lack of a tripod). Stand. Still — as the smell of hot cod and tilapia blends with mirages of Adams and Hopper.

Don’t know what made me google: George Lottermoser blog…but, I got to the place I was looking for. Guess I was just hoping to get a glance at your latest shots of life. I am in Houston, at the hispanic ad agency, just finishing my desk lunch.
This is a lovely photo….the blue is so fab. I remember this moon…I was home in New Mexico for a weekend visit. It was spectacular coming over my mountain. Just spectacular. And, how I miss the fish fry which was a tradition in Milwaukee, way back. Haven’t lived in a place that honors that tradition since 1978. Fish fry means brick buildings and spinning leaves and cold temperatures.
Hope you are well.
