Friday morning. Cameras still in the car from last outing. Stroll out to the car. Grab the two bags. Walk around the flower beds. Surprised at how many blooms have shriveled into old age; a bit saddened as I consider how short lived their beauty… too much allegory to recent events… for my heart mind. I don’t even remember what lens is on the M. My mood brightens as the blooming vines on the pergola come into view. Reach into the bag. Oh yes. I remember putting the 50 Summilux-R on the M. Didn’t make an exposure since doing so several days ago. This vintage lens will draw softly. Perfect for the melancholy I felt a moment ago. Added two chrome OUFRO rings to get in close. Expose two frames. One each of two different specimens. And I feel complete after a third exposure from the window box on the garage; just outside the rear, side door; just before walking back in to the house… to my home roasted coffee… to the computer… to share these words and pictures. Good morning. Happy Friday.
