Picture A Week
Each week a new photograph,
created within the past seven days,
appears on this page.
Week 5, Sunday, August 21th, 2005
The largest Irish Festival in the world (they say) took place in Milwaukee this past Weekend.
These ladies dug in for a serious Tug. M6 Classic with 75 lux. Ilford HP5 in DDX.
Week 4, August 19th, 2005
Just developed a roll of Ilford fp4 which has been sitting in the .58TTL, with the 35 lux asph, over a month. This interior was photographed back in early June; when I walked through the lower level of our 'downtown mall' which is built onto or into a turn of the century building. I found this stairway breathtaking.
Week 3, August 12th, 2005
This friday Mom and Dad left us, Grandpa and Nana alone with Sophia for two hours - delightful
Canon 20D, 24-70mm
Week 2, August 5th, 2005
Still on the porch
4x5 Linhof Kardan M, and 180mm Nikor f:5.6
4x5 Ilford HP5 developed "N" in Ilford DDX

The roses,
a couple
lie entwined
on the old cedar
porch rail.
Surrounded by
rusted recollections,
once red and white,
supple and green,
then in their full bloom,
now muted and brittle,
some would say dead.
Surely
they’d shatter
if separated.
Diderot quoting Fontenelle,
“As far as any rose could remember,
no gardener had ever died.”
